Palmistry
When you hire Colorful Events to read palms at your celebration, you can feel confident that it will be a positive experience. Your guests will find the readings are upbeat and empowering. Our readings are geared towards discovering the person who is beneath the skin and uncovering his or her potential. We do not predict the future, since we all have free will. What we do is read the lines in your hands to give you valuable information about your life and create a fun- filled event.
Dear Jackie,
Thank you so much for coming to Pierce College Puyallup and sharing with our campus your palm reading. It was very interesting and the students really enjoyed it. We really appreciate your help in making our Welcome Days event a great success.,
Thank you,
Megan R.
Palm Reading History
Since recorded history, palm reading has been used in many ways and continues to interest people in modern times. The existence of fingerprint patterns must have been recognized in China as far back as 3000 BC, when the Emperor used his own thumbprint as a personal mark when sealing his documents. Furthermore, fingerprint patterns have even been found in the Bible and early Semitic writings.
Legend has it that in one of Aristotle’s travels (38-322 BC), he discovered a treatise on the art of hand reading lying on the altar dedicated to the god Hermes. (In that culture, Hermes ruled over the areas of communication and travel.) The book, it is said, was in Arabic and written in letters of gold. Such was the impression the manuscript made upon him that he sent it to Alexander the Great (356-323), extolling the benefits and value of the work and advising that it should be studied by all learned men.
Recognizing its merits, Alexander promptly had the treatise translated into Latin, thus making the information available to scholars to help understand human dynamics and to physicians as a diagnostic indicator of health. The learned minds of our time have considered palm reading to be of great importance. In our modern times, the study of palmistry in the scientific community has revealed that there is a connection between our brain and the lines in our hands. It has been shown that when we have major changes in our lives, the lines in our hands reflect it.
